Watercolor Works

In 2021 and early 2022, I found myself in a remote job that felt unfulfilling, with a work environment that had become increasingly difficult. Amidst this challenging period, I returned to watercolors after a long time away. What began as a quiet act of self-care became a way to reconnect—with creativity, with stillness, and with the natural world around me.

The pieces that emerged are modest in scale, sometimes unusually sized, and created from a place of necessity—an effort to preserve well-being and stay rooted. While some might see this as a form of art therapy, for me, it was about finding inspiration in the details of nature and letting that guide the process. This small body of work is a gentle reflection of that time: grounded, personal, and deeply connected to the quiet beauty of the everyday.
